Beef-stuffed Shells

4 serves | 420 Cal (Per serving).

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Roma Pasta Jumbo Shells
  • 500g of ground beef
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup of grated mozzarella
  • 1 1/2 cup of tomato sauce

 

Preparation:

  1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
  2. In a medium pot, pour the olive oil and stir-fry onion, carrot, garlic, and celery until browned.
  3. Add the ground beef, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and add the water.
  4. Put on a lid and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Then add half cup of tomato sauce.
  5. Stuff the shells with the ground beef.
  6. In a baking mold, pour the rest of the tomato sauce and place the stuffed shells on the sauce.
  7. Cover them with cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top and serve.
