Tomato Tagliatelle with Shrimps

5 serves | 430 Cal (Per serving).

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Roma Pasta Tomato Tagliatelle
  • 500g of shrimps
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of diced onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 500g of mashed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of Vodka
  • 6 tablespoons of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon of lime zest
  • 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
  2. In a big pot, melt the butter to cook the onion for 3 minutes, then add the garlic, and cook for another 2 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the mashed tomatoes and stir. Then add the vodka, heavy cream, and lime zest. Cook at low heat for 5 minutes and then add the salt and pepper.
  4. Add the shrimps (peeled and cleaned) to the sauce and cook for 5 minutes until the shrimps are cooked.
  5. Add the pasta to the shrimp sauce and mix it all well.
  6. Serve and sprinkle the parsley on top.
