- 1 pack of your favorite pasta cut from Roma Pasta
- 1 jar (350 g)
- 2 tomatoes, cooked and peeled
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
- Basil leaves to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
- Pour the olive oil into a pot and stir-fry the garlic.
- Crush the tomatoes and add them to the pot, plus salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce with basil and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Taste the sauce to see if it needs more salt or pepper. You can also add a bit of sugar to balance the acidity.
- Add basil leaves to the sauce and stir.
- Mix the pasta with the sauce and serve hot.
