Beef and Chicken Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Roma Pasta Oven-ready Lasagna
  • 500g of ground beef
  • 500g of chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of English sauce
  • Achiote
  • 1 small chile, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup of grated mozzarella
  • 3 tablespoons of chicken broth
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • Salt to taste

 

Preparation:

  1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.
  2. Put the tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of chicken broth, English sauce, tomato sauce, and cornstarch in a blender. Blend and then pour it into a pot to boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Cook the chicken with some salt, 1 tablespoon of chicken broth, garlic, and achiote.
  4. Stir-fry the beef with chile, onion, some salt, and 1 tablespoon of English sauce.
  5. Spread 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce in the bottom of a casserole.
  6. Place a layer of lasagna sheets, then a layer of beef and chicken, then a layer of tomato sauce, and finish sprinkling mozzarella. Repeat all the layers.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180°c.
