Preheat the oven at 190 °C.

Cook the pasta following the instructions on the package.

Set a big pan to medium heat and cook the beef, onion, and crushed garlic. Then add the tempered water and season with basil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Cook for 15 minutes, regularly stirring. Add in tomato sauce, stir for 5 minutes, and set aside.

Take a casserole and spread a tablespoon of the beef sauce in the bottom, then start the layers: first, a layer of lasagna sheets, then a layer of mozzarella, and then a layer of beef sauce. Repeat all the layers finishing with a layer of beef.

Reserve 1/2 cup of mozzarella for topping.

Bake for around 45 minutes.

Take out the lasagna, sprinkle the reserved mozzarella on top, and bake for another 10 minutes until gratin.
